LIOS / Jan Erika Special
This one-off Exactor aero road bike is a collaboration with the multi-media artist Jan Erika, who has hand-painted the frame in homage to her commissioned canvas it sits in front of. The bike is finished off with top-end components: SRAM Red eTap groupset, LIOS carbon wheels and Selle Italia carbon saddle.
Jan Erika Design
Jan Erika is a multi-media artist with multiple artistic talents. Prior to her ascension as one of UK’s most sought-after abstract artists, she enjoyed a successful career in concert halls as a classically trained cellist. Recently she was asked by international star and legendary musician, Paul Weller, to play Cello’ on the recording of his album, “In Another Room” and “On Sunset”. She can also be heard playing on Stone Foundation’s 2020 album, “Is Love Enough?”
As a child growing up on the East coast of England, in a family thoroughly in-tune with the beauty of nature and the outdoors, Jan Erika sowed the seeds of her passion for shape, form, pattern and colour. She developed a love of what she calls, ‘the rhythm of the landscape’, and this is reflected in much of her work today.
The Exactor blends aesthetics and functionally in terms of design and performance, ensuring stiffness, but also lightness.
